It was very hard shooting color film in questionable lighting conditions in the sixties.

The middle of the grid. George Bonee in the Hart Hastings red 14 is almost out of frame on the right,
then Jack Marlin in the Harpeth Motors #85, David Hill in the Crowell #48, and LJ Hampton in the 97 Dodge.

The back of the pack with Rhea Greenwell in the #32, Sherrill Harris in the 86, Alton Jones in 92, James Ham in 29, Bill Gregg in 402

Coo Coo headed to the pits

Coo Coo and Friday Hassler pit while George Bonee passes on the track

Coo Coo is out of the race, while Sherrill Harris and Marty Robbins make pit stops (yes, they pitted on the quarter mile track)

Red Farmer has hit the wall and broken the right front suspension.
Both Harpeth Fords and Walter Wallace are already out of the race, their cars parked in the infield.

James Ham finished 12th in this car. Look at all the Cadet cars on trailers in the background.

Chattanooga's Bob Burcham finished 2nd to Freddy Fryar in this 1957 Chevy.
